Description

The source of fibre, Acacia fibre, is derived from Acacia senegal, a thorny tree native to Africa and India. Fibre has numerous beneficial effects on the body. Acacia fibre is a soluble, non-bulking agent which can be fermented by the microflora to acetic, propionic and butyric short-chain fatty acids. These short-chain fatty acids may act as an energy source to the existing microbiotia present in the small intestine. Unlike Acacia fibre, NutraFlora® FOS has the ability to pass through the small intestine into the colon without being digested or altered in any way.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Gelatin (capsule), cellulose, magnesium stearate. Contains shellfish (shrimp and crab).

Recommended Dose:
Adults: Take 6 capsules between meals or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
