It includes deglycyrrhizinated licorice, which provides traditional support for soothing the gastrointestinal tract and promoting the integrity of the mucosal lining. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice also support the body’s natural defence mechanisms by stimulating the mass, quality and production of mucous, a major component of the stomach’s protective lining. Plant enzymes further promote digestive function for optimal nutrient bioavailability and absorption. Gamma-oryzanol is also included, along with artichoke, turmeric, marshmallow and slippery elm, which are all well recognized for their important roles in Herbal Medicine.
